Man what a poor loser Carolina was, even the sport press said ( act like a man and address the media ) there a young team and will be back, it's funny they all were screaming and yelling when it was going good, just happy that the old man can go out on top.

I think the media made it seem worse than what Cam did walking out in a press conference.  What else could he say besides 'they played better'??? when asked the same stupid questions?   I think the rest of the team, from what I saw,  did very good interviews, besides Cam.    Way too many turnovers and sacks on Cam to win the game.  Either the offensive line was not awake and/or too slow, or Denver's defense is really that good.  It appeared the Panthers offensive line looked at times like the Packers offensive line in a few games they played,  just horrible pass protection, almost to the point I should quit my job and try out for the Packers offensive line, couldn't be much worse.   Roll Eyes

Ask several other QB about Broncos defensive team, especially Brady.  Cam nor his offensive line had never faced a Defense like the Broncos.  What else could Cam say other that we lost.   What did the interview folks want him to say.   I don't like to lose either, don't want someone in my face.

If you check into his reasoning, it was based on something that I probably would have walked out on as well. Both QB's and teams were in the same large room at opposite ends, separated only by a large curtain. If you listened closely when they were talking to Cam, you could hear the rowdy goings on on the other side of the curtain. It was rather loud and if you watch Cam, he was shaking his head in disbelief even when nobody was asking questions. He finally had enough and walked. Was it the right thing to do, not for me to say but under the circumstances.....I'd probably do the same thing.

He's young and is fairly talented so this is a good learning experience for him. I expected the Panthers to make a better showing, possibly taking the trophy. But as stated before, they had never met a defense like Denver's and it showed.

Cam brought it all on himself. He talked, show boated, and plain put himself out there. When they lost, he should have held it together and did the right thing. If you talk the talk, you better walk the walk! And I was routing for Carolina! Joe Namath talked the talk back in the day, had he lost, there's no doubt he would have done the interviews. Different times, I guess!

Cam did not bring it all on himself that I see.  That is how he does things and his personality, not right nor wrong, just different and it seemed to work all year long until the big dance at the end.   I think the players on his team overall respect him not being a showboat is all.  Being different doesn't make you a show boat.  I probably would have walked out on that interview as well playing so poorly having to answer stupid questions on top of it all as well.

6'4"/245 pounds of pussy(cat)...showed his true colors; not a pro attitude when losing and the press rightfully skewered him, vultures that they are. Embarrassed

He jumped back from that fumble like a little girl sighting the frog!  Afraid of injury?  Fourth quarter in the Super Bowl and down by only 6?  And he steps back?  That fellow just lost a whole lot of respect from his team mates, even though they didn't say anything about it.  Throws himself down on the sidelines when Denver scores that last touchdown?  Not a showboat?  Right.  Not a pro...yet...but there is hope at Dr. Manning's School for Quarterbacking Maturation. coolsmiley

And yes, Denver's defense is THAT good; it's what won games for the Broncos all of the regular season, throughout the playoffs and eventually the Super Bowl.  No Doubt, Broncos. Cool

Carolina didn't tank, they were beaten by a superior team on that lone Sunday; but that's all it takes...one game.  I'm of the opinion that it should be the best of three games on three consecutive Sundays. Lips Sealed

Final summation: punked, hoodied child.

Denver's D is that good and it has won for them all year long with mostly a below average O.  NFL is about speed and Denver is fastest D. I have ever seen and they are disciplined and play there area.

As for Newton, I have said it here earlier,  he left a lot of endorsement money on the table after that act.  I hope he does learn and mature as he was a great talent this year and should be for years to come.  If you are going to wear the Superman label on you clothing you better act like Clark Kent when the action is over, even if it does not go your way.
