when its snowing,

Seems though that tonite just a passing flurry and 30 degrees no wind

We've had this hot tub outside for over 12 yrs now and use it all year especially before retiring for the evening. After I have a small glass of scotch its time to soak with or without the jets on and look at the stars or clouds and talk or not talk

Sometimes I think about past and planned rides sometimes I even fall asleep for a few minutes while she talks

Since it is gonna go minus numbers over the weekend I think I will pass on a ride till temps get back to normal  Tonite I think I will dream of a ride to West Virginia to see my vrcc family.

Its good to be Oss tonight  Hope its good for you too

This one is for Chrisj  Its refrigerator girl all growed up

Living large and loving life! I'm convinced you 'get it', my friend... I, too, often get visions of pool nymphs and other sea creatures when I close my eyes... hot tub or no... See ya in WV!

Our place in Alabama didnt have a spa (there was one when we bought it but the hill scroggin had it wired directly to the pole and it needed work so we trashed it) anyway, I used to enjoy hangout in the pool with a drink and a cigar looking at the stars.

Our house we left in Philly when we moved to AZ is under contract for an April 8 closing so fingers crossed...we will start looking for a house out here and all I want is a pool/spa and 3 car garage....anything else I dont really care LOL

I enjoy time in the hot tub, most of the time I fall asleep in it. I don't happen to have a tattooed beauty in mine though.

Evan I sure envy you.!
My apartment has a tub but I haven't figured out a way to put in a Budget hoist to get my butt up and out if I sat in it.

Gravity and bad knees are not my friends. I have to settle for a shower. Smiley

So do we love "takin a bubble" Oss.  (That's a quote from my parrot - "Gonna take a bubble?") We are on our second hot tub having worn out the first - 20 years with our own spas. Out here on the ranch, no problem strolling out there butt naked in the daytime, year round.  Love watching the stars and sattelites, and the space station cruising by. (Go to NASA.gov, you can sign up to get an email when it will appear over you)  Generally the cameras don't make it out there, though.

livin' the dream Oss, livin' the dream...   Wink

Wife wants a hot tub in our backyard somewhere, fenced in of course.  Will see once the kids get outta the house in another 7 years or so?

I think like everything else,  we would use it dozens of times that first year and then not use it much after that.  Our neighbors built a hot tub fenced in and they used it often that first few years, but don't think they used it much the last few years at all.

I did enjoy the few times visiting an indoor waterpark sitting in the hot tub at night under the stars as well in the cold winter months, especially if snowing out, something special about it for some reason?

My first hot tub 25 years ago was $700 used and basically a giant salad bowl with 4 weak jets.
But the ladies loved it and it got one heck of a lot of use in all seasons. We used to drag the TV cable out the basement window and watch movies or sports in the yard.

The hot tub we have now is a fair bit more sophisticated but still not the overdone stuff with 40 jets and pop up TV and stereo  Roll Eyes

Most of the time, we just soak with a drink and the jets off while we watch the stars and the odd deer or fox cruising through the yard. The colder the weather the better, water at 103  laugh
