It's likely that all of us have one much closer than we think.

My Minister where I go to Church gets it. Shortly after I received my C C W permit I talked with my Minister. I offered to carry during our service(s) and he politely informed me at each service he already had 2 or more people during each service designated as Church Protection Detail AND he would keep me in mind should the need arise. As somebody else stated-THIS jihad B S can happen ANYWHERE and at ANYTIME. IF you do NOT think and believe as they do they wanna KILL you and yours-HOW frikkin Difficult is that for people to absorb? Yet ANOTHER "reason" zero wants our/your weapons! These little feel out the enemy excursions they are doing now are ONLY the tip of the iceberg. Get AND stay proficient with YOUR weapon of choice. This Country o OURS has been called to war many times before. I M H O-I Believe we are being called yet again to defend ourselves. RIDE SAFE.

It's a big city in Michigan no less, what do you expect, a bunch of hillbilly all white community in sticksville USA??

Time to move??

I'm guessing where there is ONE,  there will be dozens if not 100's more in the area.  Good luck and stay safe, time to keep the guns in the house loaded and practice shooting a few rounds as well.

Even in small town USA thinking all is peaches and cream, we had a psycho a few years ago follow an elderly couple who lives in the country a few miles from me and shot and killed them burying them in their backyard and robbed them of their money.  It is NOT safe out there NO WHERE.  Be armed and ready for intrusions anywhere.   cooldude

Even a few years ago now an intruder tried breaking into a screened patio door left open at night when the husband within eyesight of my house ran him off with a baseball bat in the middle of the night hearing a noise.  A good shining light and my .30-06 rifle will probably not miss the mark, hopefully.

There have been others identified, but they have not made any credible threats, so they are free to reside here.

Just be nice to them and they will be nice to you.

Forget your weapons, carry around a big red reset button.  This way, if you ever find yourself in a terrorist situation, first be nice to them of course, then hit the reset button and all will be milk and honey.

Or maybe bow to them.

Or tell them we've been arrogant, dismissive, and derisive and would like to make nice now.

As most know......one can be part of virtually any any group or association in this country. These groups/associations may be under the scrutiny be local, state and federal authorities, yet still be free (as long as there are no crimes committed).

Being under suspicion is not a crime, but the enforcement agencies are (at times) going beyond their bounds. I might not like these types, groups or associations, and feel unsafe in their presence. However they (as citizens) are protected by the Constitution and Bill of Rights.

Now if they are not citizens, (I feel) that the enforcement agencies have every right to protect all the people that may be effected by the actions of those non-citizens under suspicion.  ......And somehow I don't get that "warm fuzzy feeling"......

A--hole said " they dont allow guns in there" and "that it would be 'easy' " !  WHAT would be easy ?  I mean they dont allow guns in there so it should be reasonable safe ,... For HIM ! NOT for the citizens who go there.  BUT...I thought gun laws would make us all safe,..somehow ! Think about it hows he going to get a gun in there being that it isnt allowed ? ?  WOW !! Stupid is as stupid does !  Stupid we are .  My Daughter is taking my 1911 45 on Sat. to get her cc permit. I told her to use both hands !

Yes the .45 IS a "man stopper"  One torso hit and they are down and out of the fight.  EXCELLENT for home defense .  Dan you just might need more practice time with it.  I think you would love it if you were more used to it.  Most of the troops over in harms way beg borrow or steel as many .45 's as they can get their hands on. Troops really have no faith in that 'nine' .
Just takes several hits to take out a bad guy hyped up on heroin.
