Went for a walk yesterday and not only does my route include 3 uphill and 3 downhill I also get very near the high School Campus here. In fact when I go past the gym/band room I use the other side of the street because I choose to be armed. As I was finishing my 1/2 mile walk an unmarked unremarkable van stopped and 2 middle aged man had a few questions for me-NOT belligerent sorta friendly in fact. DO NOT forget I live in rural Missouri. What it boiled down to was the Way I was dressed and until those teachers pointed it out to me I had NOT given it an iota of thought. My ball cap my jacket and my jeans were all black. Even the gloves on my hands were black. They-the teachers-explained a student had called in a suspicious man dressed in black!
Turns out I was the "suspicious" person in black!
And once I splained to them who I was and who my Daughters are they both remembered me. Thank GOD I didn't have my Black balaclava on yesterday!
Trust me when I tell you I'd much RATHER be noticed on my Phatt Ghurl.
