The hole in the w/s is one thing, watch the Fox Video and look what it did to the rear of the SUV.

Hopefully she never saw it coming and didn't suffer, that poor girl and her family.

This happened less than a mile from where I work, and I go through that tunnel every day. I'm thankful that they welded the covers down.

I haven't heard what caused the cover to get airborne, just theories. That poor woman never saw it coming.

These tunnels also had problems with the overhead panels, back about 10 years ago. They used threaded anchors/adhesive to hold these huge panels to the roof of the tunnel. One let go and dropped right onto a car, killing a woman.
