Awesome.  Was worried the dates would coincide with the daughter's graduation.

Aaaaand the son's B'Day is the 19th.  He may want to tag along for some of the fun since the Mrs. will be joining me for Inzane.

Hope to make this event, some really good folks to celebrate and reunite with.   Too many irons in the fire currently to commit but, I hope to make it.

I agree Dave.
I signed up and made reservations.  The only thing that could complicate things is the arrival of my new Granddaughter.  Timing issues that I have no control over.

Thanks for all the good thoughts.

Now lets get some people singed up for this great ride. Ride threw D.C. at night with all the lights with an off duty D.C. cop leading you has got to be a great ride, wish I could make it.
Joe you might be able to pee on Obama's (our) front lawn.  They always have good food and a good time.

SO SIGNUP and have a good time.

Hey G  Don't know who I'm going with yet. Jacob just started
a great job so will have to see if he can take afew days off. I doubt
Sue will go as we have my other son's wedding afew weeks later
and the birth of our first grand child soon as well.
Going tomorrow for T shirt prices and will get a page up this week.
Just think ,this is the 12th Valkyrie Powow. Long time since the 4
Valkyrie riding couples got together at Lone's home in Pa. Shame that
2 of the orginal group have passed. Shftr and Flying Yankee. Both missed.
Will sign up soon Adrian (Chrome)V

Soooooooo Looking forward to this!

I wish I had a sidecar!  Hopefully my son will want to come and my daughter is in D.C. for school.  Would love to have both of them with me for that night ride through D.C..  At least one of them could take pictures.

Has a place for dinner been suggested yet when in D.C. that night?  Parking can be tough for sure.

That's a good idea, Roger. There are times I wish I had a passenger who could take pictures while we ride. Btw, hope the timing works out for you and Pow-Wow.

Cool Beans!

Daughter graduates 2 weeks before the rally, but I'm sure she's not coming home until mid/late summer.

I would be willing to bet there would be more than one back seat available if needed.

Got nervous.  I completely forgot to book the room!!!   uglystupid2    Went on line and was told they were sold out for Sat night.  Called and mention Valkyrie Riders Club and a king sized bed is awaiting my lonesome bones.  The 19th is the kid's b'day and he'd rather spend it with his friends.  I guess he's at that age.

Oh well.  I'll be home early Sunday so I'm sure we'll do the Family BBQ then.  Eric's b'day kicks off the family BBQ season for us.  We have so many birthdays during the season and we use them all to get together.  I think we had 12 or 13 last year.  And this year on July 10th, my Dad will be 80!!!!  Gotta put my thinking cap on for this shindig.

If anyone is looking to split the costs of a room, Monica and I have reserved a double bed room and would like to cut costs.  Send me a private massage if you are interested in saving money also.

Joe, that may be the first time I've seen someone offer a private massage as part of a cost cutting proposal.   Shocked

Or maybe.... Your brain was subconsciously telling your fingers what you desired. It's been many, many years but private massages always cost me money, never saved me any.  Smiley

Unfortunately, I have had a change of schedule and I will not be able to go.  My Son is my business partner and is also a Major in the Ohio National Guard.  They are being called into active duty and they have a staff meeting called for this week to work on the logistics.  One of us has to be here, guess that would be me.
Not sure how this will effect IZ as yet, but we will see.
