Any comments on wally batteries.

While I have a Yuasa in my Phatt Ghutl I do have a wally wurld battery in my cage. And-YES-if this one goes belly up I WILL buy another one. I got a good DEAL on the Yuasa when I NEEDED one at my M/C dealer. Lets just say at the price differential I chose the Yuasa. Some of the guys and gals I ride with have wally wurld batteries and are liking them a lot. RIDE SAFE.

I bought a Wally World MAXX battery for the car 10 years ago.
I just replaced it with another one even though it was still working. After 10 years I suspected that it was just a matter of time. I feel like I got my moneys worth, as it worked longer than any ofher brand battery I have every bought.

I am using there motorcycle batteries and getting 3 to 4 years. Again they seem to last as long as any others I have bought. 4 years seems to be my limit on a motorcycle battery.

Got one in the Bike now... Just getting ready to croak after 5 years....

The Valk has a great charging system.  I haven't a clue as to the age of my battery and am using whatever was in it when purchased last August.  So far have not needed to even use a tender, but then again it has not gone more than 2 - 3 weeks before being ridden.  And you can power just about any accessory, or combo of accessories thru a simple relay.

My other bike, an 89 Shadow, would go flat even with a new battery and is on the tender whenever not being used.
Nothing in moderation...

I used to work for Wally.....and always have bought my batteries from anywhere else. Way too many returns!  YOUR MMV.......

I always go for Yuasa batt's for my bike. I get about 7 years out of them, compared to a year or two from the Wally stuff......

Same goes for the Cars and trucks......NO Wally "Never Start" batt's!!

But then again......you just may get a lucky one!!!

I had one in my VTX for 4 years. It was fine till I left the key on for an entire Nascar race... :-[
Got it home, but it grunted funny when starting so I replaced it.

Turns out not what or where,
but who you ride with really matters

I replaced my battery with a sealed, maintenance free, gel-type at the beginning of 2009 riding season. Purchased it at Batteries Plus.  :cooldude:
Will buy another this year just to be safe.

Had my Valkyrie for 14 years.  I'm on my third Walmart MAXX battery.  I change the out after 3 or 4 years BEFORE they die.  Running on an almost dead battery is horrible for the alternator.

WW stuff is as reliable as any other brand

I've bought 2 batteries for the fat gurl at WW and both came with yusa instructions.Their car batteries I was told where made by Exide, but that was awhile ago.Have had great performance from both.

I have a Wally World battery on my yellow tourer right now. Been wanting to switch out to a new battery for awhile now, just waiting for the current one to croak. But the damn thing just keeps ticking. So in my books, WW batteries gets a thumbs up!
