don't most of us belong to that chapter?

I have absoutely NO clue what I did to my inner left ankle below the bone and on bottom of my heel but hardy unable to walk on it as of yesterday mid-day.

Feels like a strain but been doing some research and is slightly inflammed and sore in a few spots suppose to ellavate the ankle up and ice it and take advi/aleve for the pain.

I doubt it is gout, but definitely something going on and have zero clue on why?  I can walk, but just gingerly for sure.  Glad I have an office job and not on my feet all day long or I wouldn't make it a day.

Foot and ankle injuries take longer to heal. Cry Try to stay off your feet and do warm soaks.

they say ice the ankle to reduce swelling, not heat, since is already throbbing hot now sort of, not horrible, but walking around makes it worse and worse like tonight at work it kept getting worse and worse.

Don't have a bone spur do ya?

no idea as of now, but will a bone spur cause inflammation and bottom of my feet (heel in back mostly) to hurt walking on it?  I've NEVER felt this before NEVER had any issues with anything like this.  I think my new club is 'sucks getting older and whining' club.

Went to dr. today and they think is just a sprained ankle with some swelling and if not better in 3 days,  come back and they will do an xray and more bloodwork to outrule other possible problems, etc. to see if anything else going on.   It is tender/sore in one spot just below the left inside  ankle bone.

Yes, they gave me an ankle wrap and a freezer ice pack to keep ice on it,  not heat.

Last night was throbbing some having to stand/walk on it at work limping all the time wanted to go home but ONE man office unfortunately me, or I would have gone home.  Also said to double the dosage of aleve/advil to 4 pills per day vs. only 2 days to keep swelling/pain down some.  Not horrible swelling, but present as compared to the right ankle for sure.    I didn't think the swelling was that bad until the dr. told me to put both feet side by side and can tell just by looking it is swollen some  in that one spot below inside ankle bone.

gotta get going to work now will see if I can prop a box up to allevate the foot up some off the floor which does help a tad relieving pressure off the ankle/bottom of left foot - yippee!
