While on vacation 2 years ago Gulf Shores Alabama,  an older kid caught a 20 inch or so baby shark on his fishing gear from shore.  Was pretty neat to see the shark since he didn't have a pliers so me being me,  I offered to take the hook out of the baby sharks mouth.  Those suckers are hard to keep from moving around very slippery to the touch.  We didn't man handle it though and released ASAP after inspecting it for a few seconds.

I wondered what a few times was brushing up against my leg spending 2-3 hours daily in the 3-5 feet of salt water, guessing baby sharks and other fish???  My son did get stung by a small jellyfish stung/hurt pretty bad swelling up.

Salt water creatures are surely spectacular and much wider variety and MORE of them concentrated with someone like me only being used to freshwater fish.  Groupers/trigger fish/snapper/long black eel looking creature/yellow/shiny something or another/barricuda, etc, etc. were all fish caught and seen while down there never seen before in my life.  I was in awe!!!  I can see why people live down there year round, although darn hot, hot, HOT!!!
