Ever notice that most are RWD cars with way too many ponies under the hood for most to handle?

Never again will I joy ride being a passenger with an idiot driver in a corvette in my youth taking a 25 mph corner doing 75 mph in town, scared the living crap outta me.  Even straight line acceleration can get you into trouble with these souped up cars.

I don't know about that, don't we hire docs, dentists, vets, lawyers, CPAs, mechanics, and any number of people with specialized knowledge and training?

We don't actually buy them, but we do rent them.

As a C5 Zo6 owner I can tell you the car is incredibly fast--in the 10's w/drag radials-stock- and w/proper gearing hit 200 mph--as long as you leave the traction control on nailing it in a straight line is fine--it cycles thru acceleration but goes straight...the stability control works wonders also but there is so much sand/oil/water on a typical street you are foolish to go anywhere near adhesion limits for it to save your bacon...I have a 1968 Ram Air Firebird w/600 hp-471c.i. w/150/hp nitrous that is quite the ground pounder but it is just stupid to try any antics in it on the street--I just love the Valkyrie with an open exhaust with the Viking header--it is pretty fast but not enuf to get you over your head w/o trying

I agree. the valk has be described by others as "forgiving" she got plenty of power but not enough is do you in with out really trying
