She actually kept her promise, she did try but just didn't succeed. Thats the trickery of words trying is not an absolute, a half truth is the hardest to tell if it is truth because you have to think about the statement. She is highly skilled in this slight of hand and never answering in absolutes. Its not easy to do it takes training to side step answers in this way.

The problem as I see it today is that Clinton has no credibility at all. Yet people cannot say why they would vote for her now that is truly sad. How lost can people be to consider voting for someone who at every turn has lied.

I want off the boat also. I don't think the republican nominees are 1/2 wits and morons. But anyone that thinks the right side nominees are morally superior to the left side nominees is fooling themselves. Unfortunately we don't have any more choice who runs than the other side has a choice. We have to pick from the choices available just as the other side does. What is really sad is in this day and age it's more of a gladiator show than a debate of ideas. When we are to the point when Senators publicly state that they are not going to consider their constitutional duties we are in a bad way.

If he were to throw up an apolitical constitutional scholar of solid repute and experience, he might get a hearing and a vote.

If he throws up another left wing, feel good, constitutional side-stepper/ignorer (like the last two and his AGs), I don't care how they get beat.... as long as they are beat/rejected/shitcanned/flushed.

HOW ZACKLY is this a surprise when the current potus-a term I use loosely-has a pen and a phone and side steps the constitution when it suites him personally? We were in a "bad way" when zero started his second term. RIDE SAE.

Kinda like ramming through legislation with not one vote from the other side and executive orders.  Now the shoes on the other foot and they don't like it.  Harry Reid blocked everything the house sent up, now the repubs are blocking.  Sucks, hunh?  I can't wait for a Repub president, just so I can see the whining that's gonna come from the left at every turn about every thing  that they praised the savior for doing.

There is nothing unconstitutional about "ramming" thru legislation. It DOES state in the constitution that the Senate is supposed to advise and consent on Supreme Court nominees. How easily some senators forget their sworn duties.

He said, she said.  Nobody has avoided their responsibilities, yet.  I'll wait and see who he nominates.

If it is another wing nut, it's clear he only intends to create more hate and discontent and division, and get his name in the paper, and again stand before the fellating media to proclaim his wonderfullness.

If it is another wing nut, who needs another congressional sideshow, wasted time and money on a lost cause?  WELL HE DOES.

These announcements may only be sabre rattling to try get him to send up someone actually worthy of consideration.  I personally don't think he has it in him to do anything worthy of his office, the country or anyone who works for a living.

So lets see who he throws up.  And then continue the discussion.

Exactly right meathead. I was talking about Cruz, Rubio, etc. I'll say one thing about this election cycle's players. They've been entertaining.

And right on about the Dem bashing. It's constant. If I spent 2 minutes, I could show a dozen posts slamming the left as immoral, ignorant, lying, and worse. It's constant on this forum, never seen anything like it. But step up and make one comment against the right, HOLY CHRIST!

It does suck. But looking back at my voting history I'd have to say probably over half of them were a vote against someone more than a vote for someone.

Jess, you well know the constitution doesn't qualify it with "if he nominates a wing nut disregard". If he nominates someone your side doesn't like then run them thru the system and vote them down. It's not that hard, you guys have the votes. As for him nominating a wing nut do you consider Sotamayer or Kagan wing nuts ? If the roles were reversed the republicans would be exploding their brains across the country.

Anyone who says the 2d amendment does not mean what it plainly says is a wingnut.

Far worse than a wingnut, a liar, an oath breaker, a subversive, a traitor, an enemy of the people.

Another one of those must not be allowed on the court, and by any means necessary.

Anyone who says the 2d amendment does not mean what it plainly says is a wingnut.

Another one of those must not be allowed on the court, and by any means necessary.

?????

Difficult to understand? Each description makes perfect sense.
