Looks like they are trying to cut in on Plastidip's success. I've used that plenty of times, including the wheels and forks on my Standard. It holds up really well and looks great. It's pretty much as promised. Good stuff. I'm sure this is roughly the same formula.

How well did the Plasti dip flatten out? It's painted on, from a can, not a spray?

Have you tried removing it yet, either to repair a poorly done job, or to try another color?

It goes down to matte when dry. There is also a "glossifier" that is like a clear coat you can use as an option. I tried it and didn't care for it- it seemed to lighten the black a bit. There are can and spray versions. I have only used the rattle bomb version. It goes on very similar to spray paint.

I have removed it from a couple things and resprayed. When I got new tires mounted, I peeled and redid it because the tire machine caught an edge. The key is to use at least 2-4 coats so as to make it significant enough to peel when you are ready. If you are going to overspray, do it as heavily as whatever you want colored. It will peel a lot easier. Also, remove ALL tape the minute you are done spraying.

It is durable. I have the grille painted on my Odyssey, emblems on my Matrix, various wheels, my final drive and forks, etc...I have taken the car through automatic car washes, do it yourself sprayers and subjected it to various cleaners. Without actually having direct contact with something aggressive, it does not come off! It does take a few days to set completely.  You don't need much prep, just make sure it's fairly clean and go to town.

How well does that stuff hold up against insects?? 

I live in Louisiana... at times, my bike is the color of bug guts. 

I occasionally have to wash it to remember what color it was originally painted.

I have used s100 and let it soak, followed by high pressure on the hose with it. If I need to get more aggressive than that, I'll sometimes use my finger to rub what's left before I spray it. It just keeps on going!
