We took off for a 3 day weekend ride with some friends. We met up with some of the AZ Chapter guys for a short ride to Gila Bend for lunch. After getting a late start trying to synch up our new Sena 20S communicaters and making a wrong turn we were an hour late for our meet up with Michael K, BigTom, Nautibrit, and a young man they met on a Victory. Luckily they are some good guys and waited patiently out in the middle of the desert for us.

We took some roads that I hadn`t been on before, which were pretty cool. The video doesn`t do it justice but the Saquaros were everywhere !
https://www.dropbox.com/s/d5z08jflfzuu996/South%20of%20Ajo.wmv?dl=0We didn`t get any pics of the caverns as they won`t let take cameras or phones in. But it was really cool !

This was parked across the street from the OK Corral. I can`t remember the make but it was interesting.
Our return trip home took a turn for the worse unfortunately. My buddies Yamaha decided to reject his rear tire. A chunk of rubber 3" by 10" tore off as we were doing 80 down the interstate. Luckily it didn`t blow and he was able to stop without him or his wife getting injured.

As we were sitting there trying to figure out what we were going to do on a Sunday with everybody closed we get a phone call from my son. Our 3 year old granddaughter who has Type 1 diabetes was in bad shape and was about to be helicoptered to Vegas. We got a rental truck at the expense of $500 aqnd loaded up my buddies bike and started hauling ass. We made it to Vegas about 9 or 10 pm to the hospital. She was in ICU in a bad way. She had caught a respatory infection called RSV (i think) and it had screwed her blood sugar and immune system all up. To make a long story short after 5 days she was released and is doing great now. I am so thankful to the people at Sunrise Childrens Hospital. This is the third time these folks have saved this little girls life.

Anyway didn`t mean to throw a downer in on the ride report, but as they say crap HAPPENS.
