I have been in bed  :( for two days. What ever this is has been one of the most potent sicknesses I have had in decades, literally. I will be really bummed if we cannot make Saturday's ride but I thought I should at least post that it's iffy at this time. I am getting better I just can't believe how freaking week I am and a long drive two up might not be a wise thing.  If I rebound real quick we will go. Does not matter what I eat it has absolutely zero taste.  I can honestly say I have never had a fever that gave me uncontrollable shakes like this one did two nights ago. Sherry wanted to take me to the ER, once I crawled under the covers all was better and the shakes immediately stopped.

Sounds like a touch of the Naval flu......"clean sweep, fore and aft."    :2funny:  Hope things improve soon, that kind of stuff feels miserable.

Take care of yourself first Jerry, I hope you can make it but don't want you to push it. Sounds like a bad one, drink lots of fluids and hopefully you get to feeling right. We can always do this place again soon.  :-X

I will echo Mike here. Your health and well-being is more important than any ride. We hope that you do make it, but if it is not to be, I can get the rest of the crew from the Marathon in Sorrento to the Steakhouse and back.

Health first. Feel better brother

The key thing is to wake up breathing! All the rest can be fixed. (Except Stupid - You can't fix that)

Thank you all for the kind words, now Sherry has it  :(    We will lay low and wait for pictures. Have fun and if anyone gets the bacon clucker let me know if it was a good choice.

Wow you smashed my record. I was 7 years and this was the first call out with the city of Sarasota ever. The people at work thought I must have been dead.  Haven't been on a bike in two weeks myself however spent some time working on the 1500.  :cooldude:

Well to anyone who gets this, hang on it's more powerful than a dragster and mine came on as fast as one and to those who haven't had it get a mask.  LOL.

Had mine 2 weeks ago, which I gave to my wife and she just got over it as well  >:(   But there is always worse, I had to bury my Brother In Law yesterday, he was 52. I just got back from NY and things are a little hectic right now with all this sudden sadness and loss.

I am also going to drop out of this ride and hope to maybe just go over to Ormond Bch with my buddy Robert, who was heading down to FL to meet up with me, as I was heading up to NY to deal with my Family during this time.

Be happy for each day, as we never know when they come a callin...Safe riding everyone.

So sorry for you and your sisters loss Nick.

Sorry to hear about your and your family's loss Nick.
My daughter and I will do the lunch meet and then head over to Main Street, I'll keep an eye out for you in case you head that way.
