It's sad to say but that's about the going price for a plain jane Interstate with a hundred thousand miles. 

While it is certainly true that the powerplant of the Valkyrie is more than capable of going much over two hundred thousand miles there are wear parts that will need attention at or soon after hat point.  This one mentions that he has recently replaced the alternator so that's one down but there are certainly a few others left.

Even if there are a few things that need replaced soon, it seems worth a look. 
I paid 4500 for my Interstate in November with 53k on the clock. 
So far it's been a problem free ride!
