I am just such a sucker for old cars in mint condition..........

 Wink

I remember my dad had  a 65 Comet, a 64 Caddy conv. with a cruise control on top of the dash on the left, a falcon and a fairlane
and a 64 Impala

Hope you enjoy and let us know if you ever owned one of them

Friend of mine I grew up with got in trouble with and we joined the Services a week apart. Bill had a 48 Buick we went everywhere in. He called it his Grey Ghost. One Halloween we figured out we had room for 2 pumpkins between the grill and the radiator. Couple of accessory lights wired to the running lights inside the pumpkins made for an interesting sight. Wasn't one in your pics but when we got home he bought a 58 Chevy Impala convertible. The Chevy was a runner for It's day. Those 55 Chevies have long been on of my personal favorites.  cooldude RIDE SAFE.

A friend of mine bought a Chevy about a year ago, that is a clone of this car. I wonder if it's the same one. I did some upholstery for him. The car is beautiful.

Wow! Very nice post. I especially like the Chevy's

If I could've kept all my old cars today I would make some money selling them.  How's this for a list.

'29 Chevy, '34 Olds, '35 and '36 Chevys, '38 Ford business coupe, '48 Buick Special straight eight, '42 and '46 Pontiac sixes, '57 Dodge, '49 Olds Rocket 88, ,53 Olds Super 88, '57 Ford utility bed pickup, '67 Ford PU, ,78 Dodge PU, '53 Ford Fairlane, '63 Ford, ,83 Dodge Shelby (It ain't just paint)4 cylinder and yes it was just paint.........worse car that I ever owned next to a '54 Volkswagon Beetle.  The best one was the '49 Olds Rocket 88 club coupe.

I missed some 'furrin' cars but won't list them here.

Here's a pic of the Rocket.  I was working full time as an Xray tech and part time in a body shop. Six
coats of lacquer, hand buffed between each coat. Kelly green. A lot of work.!

18 years old when I bought my 68' SS ........ and I still have her!

Was in rough shape when I bought it for $1200.00 back then and I fixed her up.
Due to an unfortunate happening ........ she needs some help to put her back into this shape again.
I just haven't had  the time or money to do so. Many times I have thought to sell her so she can get back on the road but I always back off.
One day she'll cruise again.......

After a long search, I bought this Coupe DeVille in 2003 for my 50th birthday, which was my Caddies 50th birthday as well. The gentleman I bought it from owns the Harley Davidson dealership in Greenville, S.C., where I took delivery of my '53.
