It's hard to tell with television entertainment whether someone is what he appears to be or is playing a role.  He certainly has presented a stupid image to the camera.  Perhaps that's what people want to see.

Sometimes one of those "stars" does something outside of the television situation to clarify.  This one has certainly done something to demonstrate that he is easily as stupid as a large portion of the population.

Yeah, I agree.  
But I guess we have to realize it is a REALITY show. Which, IMO, their all pretty stupid! Watching the commercials about these I wonder how these idiots lived past puberty much less to have a TV show.

As far as Pawn stars, although I haven't watched it in a couple of years, some of the items brought in are interesting.

I don't watch 'reality' shows much.  Either they are completely dysfunctional by stupidity or it's on purpose to generate interest.

Chumlee is an idiot no doubt, but he made the show more amusing to laugh at just how stupid he can be in real life.  This story proves my point.
