Just got the new issue of Cycle World and there is an article about the bike they built using a Harley-Davidson Road Glide.

The Road Glide is the only Harley that does it for me

I was in a H/D dealership today. Got 42 G burnin a hole in yer pocket?
It wuz a 16 alphabet soup "something" at 42 G. Pretty red but even a white and turquoise stripped down alphabet soup "something"-hard bags and a W/S versus a full fairing-was near 22 G. RIDE SAFE.

If I remember correctly from the article, that one makes 167 HP and 170 foot pounds of torque. I might not want to buy it but I'd sure like to ride it for a day or two.

Surely after spending that much one would hope it would be out the shop a few more days than that. I'd hope for least a week of trouble free riding.

How many mile will be put on it until it needs rebuilt? 12? 20? 50 if they are lucky and the guy doing the upgrades really knows his motors.

Yep. Wouldn't want to ride it to the left coast. But would indeed like to ride it.
