Just got the new issue of Cycle World and there is an article about the bike they built using a Harley-Davidson Road Glide.

If I happened to be forced to own a harley it would be a road glide. But im pretty sure I wont ever be forced so no harleys for me. Ever

I was in a H/D dealership today. Got 42 G burnin a hole in yer pocket?  uglystupid2 It wuz a 16 alphabet soup "something" at 42 G. Pretty red but even a white and turquoise stripped down alphabet soup "something"-hard bags and a W/S versus a full fairing-was near 22 G. RIDE SAFE.

If I remember correctly from the article, that one makes 167 HP and 170 foot pounds of torque. I might not want to buy it but I'd sure like to ride it for a day or two.  cooldude

Surely after spending that much one would hope it would be out the shop a few more days than that.   I'd hope for least a week of trouble free riding.   Wink

How many mile will be put on it until it needs rebuilt? 12? 20? 50 if they are lucky and the guy doing the upgrades really knows his motors.  Grin

Yep. Wouldn't want to ride it to the left coast. But would indeed like to ride it.

not surprised poeple have been putting S&S in harley frames for years they're tough engine.
