Back in 2003 I had the misfortune of having my thermostat freeze closed. The bike overheated with minimal damage. I had to replace the water pump a couple of weeks later and that was the extent of it. However not having a manual at the time we figured we could only get at it through the air box. I can't remember exactly what we did (CRS) But I'm changing the vacuum houses before going to Rolling Thunder and figured I'd replace the air box as well. Found one on EBAY for $20 with shipping. I opened it up to put the air filter I already bought in and low and behold but it had a K&N filter in there. Not bad for $20.
