We took a ride over to Robbinsville , NC yesterday more or less to check on the fate of The Fall Color Ride ( Miss Reba has not been doing well ) . I'm very happy to say that Miss Reba is back home and doing much better. I had a ride report in my head with pictures from this past week three day ride into southern Kentucky and western North Carolina only to find out either my phone or computer is messed up when getting pictures. If you are friends with me on Facebook all the pictures are there.... I also talked with Joy , Miss Reba's  daughter and she said she'll made sure the 2016 Fall Color Ride will have plenty of firewood to burn.

Glad Miss Reba is doing better.  I've already  scheduled a mid-term for Wedensday night so I can take Thursday and Friday off to go riding.  Might be grading tests instead of drinking beer at night but wouldn't miss the ride.

Glad to hear Miss Reba is recovering well. Would hate for this ride to go away. I don't mind the 800 mile drive to see my southern family  cooldude

I too have had the weight of accidents heavy on my mind when I've led rides.

That's why I stopped doing the Memorial Day Ride.

Now I no longer let those I don't know follow.

Even then crap happens and there's nothing we can do apart from wrap ourselves in cotton wool and become removed from the world.
