Is that a pistol in your pocket, or are you just... carrying an iPhone?

The Ideal Conceal handgun has made waves for what its maker calls an “ingenious” design that looks exactly like a smartphone when in the “locked” position.

Little pricy for a modern 2 shot derringer BUT I like the concept. With ONLY 2 rounds you had best be dead on with the first. RIDE SAFE.

I looked at the picture.  I don't think it's convincing enough to be  mistook for a phone except on a casual glance.

I also think there may be no one or very nearly no one who answers his phone by pulling a trigger.   crazy2

Looks like they will manufacture them 10 miles from me.

Carl,
While I have the deepest respect for your opinion on a vast number of topics, on this I'm skeptical.

Cell phone guns have been around for several years.   They were mostly made outside this country and were not legal here but they were here.  And, most of them were capable of more than 2 shots.

I am skeptical of it's worth.  With the average gun fight lasting 3.2 seconds, and needing to get that gun out and then unfold it and get it deployed to fire along with the fact that the good guy is usually at the very least 1 second into the fight before he knows it is a gunfight,........... well, it might be a good option for assassins and thugs but not much help to the rest of us.

I would think for that price that they would go for a heavier caliber. Of course they probably have 'wimpy' in mind since there's no slide to take up some recoil.

$395.00 might make it go the way of the Gyrojet or the Tround.

On second thought, the WWII Liberator pistol is going for some high moola.   Smiley
