Blessed with beautiful 24 degree C (that's 78 F for our US friends) and an opportunity to leave the office early a couple of days in a row, I did just that. A nice 250 km (150 mi) ride yesterday (sorry, no pics....a fast solo ride), I arrive home from the office this afternoon and have a hard choice to make.....

Many days it's a difficult decision for me, but since I got my speed fix yesterday, I figure it's a fishing afternoon today and time to relax at this little lake 15 minutes from home that is even named after me  Wink  .... so it's off to Mike Lake in one of Southern BC's biggest provincial parks - Golden Ears Park. Ospreys, Eagles, some busy beavers, the odd black bear, and even a few fish hang out at Mike Lake, making it a great way to spend an unexpecatntly warm and bright March afternoon.

FISH ON!!!

....and in the basket, a nice little Rainbow cooldude

Yup, retirement when it comes in a couple of years will be nice....ride, fish, ride, fish....sleep, eat... ride, fish, ride, fish  Grin

Haha.....I  lost my phone in a river up in  Northern BC last Summer doing the same thing. All my trout fishing is catch and release so a photo is my only record of catch....I've  become pretty inventive in this regard when I'm on my own   Smiley

Very nice. I sure miss fishing in AK. Would love to hook up some grayling on flies again. Maybe next summer.  Smiley
