I suspect this guy did something to tick the cager off and it's not shown but you make the call.

I wish I could see the 5 minutes before where the video started.  Seems real safe driving down the wrong side of the road.

I don't know what happened to start this and I don't really think it matters. It was obvious from the first 4 seconds that young man is not long for this world.  Embarrassed There were NUMEROUS places to safely pull off. I'm an old man but I would have gladly taken my chances with the douche in the car on the side of the road pull off.  Smiley

That was a scary thing to watch. Could have ended very tragically. What I don't understand is how the guy in a Ford Fusion could keep catching and passing the guy on the bike, but at any rate I would have taken Meatheads approach and pulled over and faced the guy. I have done that four or five times and so far only one ended in a fight  and he was more mouth than muscle. Hey, I am still alive. (LOL)

Kinda like to know WHAT precipitated the incident. Far as broward county goes with the video I M H O-they should have got up and done something about this young mans complaint. Stating It's business as usual-road rage-is NOT an answer. Would they have investigated further had the rider been killed? Remember here in Missouri last week that P G R Ride Captain was killed and the woman is NOT being charged!  Lips Sealed Is this yet another reason to NOT ride in florida? As I stated last week-I do NOT like the Fact I'm starting to feel expendable!  uglystupid2 Even IF the M/C rider was wrong from the git go-distinct possibility-the cage driver was more wrong as I M H O-looks like he was trying for vehicular homicide.  Lips Sealed Course had the rider drew and fired a pistol we KNOW Who would have been arrested!  Undecided Far too many retards behind the steering wheels and the handle bars of M/Cs. BUT that's like MY opinion!  coolsmiley RIDE SAFE.

Didn't watch it all.
My 2 cents. I wasn't there to see the truth.

2 idiots.

Rider should have pulled into the gas station after the first encounter on the video. Gone inside, called police.

Then prepared to defend himself from attack.

Here in Florida I can tell you that the majority of the drivers are respectful but when you get a nut job you get a real one. Its been really kind of nuts down here lately especially close to cities, and Miami is a whole other country.

So when I see this video I think the biker was inexperienced, not ready and didn't know how to control the situation I don't care what started it. It scared him when he realized the guy didn't care what happened to him and not confident in his own abilities to deal with the situation.

The biker was driving like an idiot and the guy in the car thought he would try to enforce the law.
The guy in the car had to be breaking all kinds of laws to catch up to the biker.
The cops should have confiscated the video and prosecuted both of the guys.

Agreed, both at fault, something happened between both of them, we don't know exactly . My bets are on the biker did some crazy crap thing seeing how he does not respect the road.

Seems like they think if a motorcycle is involved it must be their fault.  Their ought to be some kind of charge if someone is killed, clearly the PGR Ride Captain wasn't at fault.

Trying to outrun an idiot is a bad idea unless the idiot is on a scooter. Speed and being stressed will get you killed. Car vs motorcycle, you can just be pushed or run over.  Most cases I think you should try to avoid aggravating the situation, the nut could shoot you. Drugs can cause a normal person to become out of control. This guy looked out of control.

man, seeing something so horrible as this road rage makes me want to do concealed carry more and more so 'just in case'.

I think I would have pulled over and hope the guy in the car does not run me over but I might try to turn off the main road and speed away, maybe at first???  Not sure until you are in that situation I guess what one would do,  depending on my mood of the day?

Some days I want to pull over and fight, some days I could care less and be mellow and laugh it off.

I'll take my chances in a fist fight as long as he/she doesn't have a gun.

one thing for sure,  I did not know a ford smaller sedan such as that could go that fast.

Only time I really felt threatened was on the interstate doing near 80 mph in my truck and could not get over into the slower right lane bumper to bumper traffic and this guy comes up from behind doing 90mph+ in a junker car wanting to go faster than me at most 1 car length behind me could not see his hood of his car in rearview mirror was that close to me and he was flashing his lights and yelling at me (could see in his rearview mirror his crazy face)  and beeping his horn.  I finally could get on over to slower right lane,  but was dicey for a few miles there I thought for sure he was going to ram my truck bumper in his junker car.

I don't understand how the biker could not get away from that cager. I've done it twice in 50 years of riding . First time was in 66 on my Norton and again in 09 on my Valk when a driver didn't like me passing him on a four lane highway. I seen him on my tail and just left him in my dust chase over. As to the cops they are just lazy idiots.  On a funny episode back in the late 60s I had a Mustang driver got mad after I passed him on the freeway while driving my Jaguar XKE. I heard him racing his engine coming after me and looked to see him approaching my rear real fast. At 75 I shifted down to second and took off up to 90 in third. Chase over when his car started smoking. No contest there. It was  fun. Road rage fights can end real bad and sometimes it's best to get away if you can on the other hand I seen some biker friends go after cagers for something stupid, that's even dumber.
