I could make a statement, but, some would take it seriously and consider it to have been racist. So, I won't.

Killer bees (and yellow jackets) are the closest thing to jihadis in the animal kingdom.

Every Spring, I can count on yellow jackets trying to move into my property somewhere, and I hunt them like Osama Bin-laden, before they start colonies and establish sharia law.  Grin

I cannot work with my shed doors open right now.... they keep coming in in ones and twos.  Little pricks.

I stepped in a yellow jacket nest a few years ago and before I could cannon ball into the lake I got hit 27 times. Mostly on my back a few on my legs and feet and a couple on my chest. Little bastards even stung me while under water. My black lab got hit on both ears and they swelled up pretty big. I'm just lucky im not allergic like my mom, she will swell up like the elephant man. We waited for them to settle and let my buddies hot mom rub ointment on my woumds  Evil then got the kids super soakers out of the shed filled them with gas and drenched the hole and lit them suckers up.

As misunderstood as Yellow Jackets are, White/Bald Face Hornets are even more so.
I tend to get both of these guys every year, usually they find me before I find them.
I like to get the nests after a frost and hang them up as decorations in the house.
