My motto the last few years has been, "No plan is the best plan!" I had tentative 'plans' in mind when I rolled ALI out of my garage last week, but... As is the custom these days, those abruptly changed! My solitary cruise through Virginia was abandoned in favor of a ride to visit Charliemac and Diane...And, what a visit it turned out to be!!!
The weather was danged near perfect... It did warm up during the mid to late afternoons, and I was over-dressed for these conditions, but hey... I ain't complainin'!!! No clouds in the sky, tame winds, awesome countryside, spectacular vistas, curvatous roads... but best of all, companions that have no betters...
Hard for me to attempt to describe such a fab outing! Perhaps my saying 'I'll do 'er again first chance I get' will convey some of my reaction to all of this! Charliemac and Diane, thanks for your hospitality and tolerance of an aging relic whose best days appear to be happening right now...

Bruce, Just occured to me. Now that I have Clint's popup camper, even if not camping over half of it's internal space is available to haul other stuff. Like Markarita fixin's. Make sure you watch the Colorado thread for upcoming rides that include overnights. There will be Patron / Grand Marnier Markaritas in the works and you have a lifetime free pass!
MarkT,
You do have a way with Patron and stuff... your secret ingredients and recipe for those really special libations you concoct... Have I ever told you that you have become my favorite alchemist? Yeah, I will keep an eye out... Hard to beat a roll to those hills y'all have out there... And, just like with my friends in other parts of the continent, I find y'all's company mighty pleasing and well worth a ride out yonder! Glad I got to visit with you again at Hotglue's, looking forward to the next time! Please say hello to the rest of the folks out there for me, and please tell them I think of y'all often and fondly...
