electronic cruise control question

Gotta question about the electronic type cruise controls.
I 've never been fond of the throttle lock type cruise controls, just seems like they could be dangerous in an emergency type stop situation.
Do the electronic types, deactivate when you hit your brakes, similar to a car type cruise control?

Yes, front brake, rear brake, or clutch all shut them down. I can overpower my ccs100 cruise control if I wanted too by twisting the throttle back. Mine works like a car, and I use it all the time.

I have the Rostra installed on my tourer, and have it set up to deactivate with brakes and clutch.  But I still have a throttle lock installed.  It has always been adjusted so that the throttle can be twisted back.  But I started riding in an age before snap back throttles were required and my first two bikes did not have them...
