But I really like this pic I took today before a nice drive "In the Wind" with the top down.

Twila's son, Nathan washed and did the polymer coating ReJeX for me.  It turned out nicely.

Rejex is a great protective polymer and it last for at least a season.

Not bad for a 2002 with original paint.

Yup, nice car...like that colour a lot Smiley  Like I've said before, driving my wife's Red '92 Miata is about as close as you can get in a car to riding a MC...you really feel the road beneath you, the wind, and it's a real blast in the twisties  cooldude

I like to think of my 2000 red LS model as go-kart for grown ups.  Cool
and I drive it pretty much that way.
Had a new top when I bought it that hasn't fully been stretched out yet so makes it really hard to latch.
Have to drive with the top down a lot... bummer...  cooldude

Wow, that's a heckuva shine!   Cool  I went to the Rejex website.  They say to apply when temps are above 85* -- in the shade!  EDIT: Per Solo1's follow-upbelow, I read that wrong.  Don't apply above 85*.

Guess that pretty much counts us Gunnison folks out!

I just checked the bottle.  It says and I quote " do not apply to hot surfaces  ie, avoid direct sunlight at temperatures GREATER (my emphasis) than 85 Degrees"

You kinda read it wrong.  I always do apply in the shade and then keep the car inside until the next day, it needs to cure.  It hardens for 8 to 12 hours.  It can collect dust outside and the dust can stick to it before it's 'cured'.  Don't ask me how i know.

It's really easy to use.............and lasts!

BTW, ART.  The new Miata "ND" series is great.  Lighter weight that the "NC" and less horses (that's a change) but will out perform the 'NC".  FYI, the first Miatas were "NA" models, the second were "NB" models (mine is an NB.) third in 2005 is the NC, and the newest is the ND.
