OEM Tires for 2014 2015 Valkyrie

I would be interested in them.  How much are you looking for shipped to Ogdensburg, NY.  Please take into account that the Canadian dollar really sucks these days.    
I have stuff shipped there because it is a lot cheaper than shipping to Canada.  I am over there often as well.


I don't know why you guys are so down on the oem tires.  I have over 7000 miles on mine, and I have driven in some really crappy weather.  My tires are holding up great,  I still have about 1/2 the tread left, and I don't have any issues with them.  Last year we got caught in several severe thunder storms with hail, and driving rain.  The tires held nicely, and not once did I get a feeling that they wouldn't hold.  I have also driven in low temps as well (6 degrees celsius), and they held fine.  The michys probably do hold better, but they will probably wear out fast.

Probably about $40 to ship.  Twice I had the back end swing out from under neith me on wet payment and I was going at a constant spped and power setting.  Never happened to with Michy's and that taller front tire really makes the bike handle nice.  But I thought there might be some guys that have had no problems.  They are metzlers I believe who makes good tires.  You can have them for $200 total.

Yep..amazing at how nimble the bike feels...Really easy to snap it into a corner...light pressure required on the bars...I just use my arse to turn the bike...and the front end just follows so easily with little input...  Weird at first but once you get used to it...wow...sport bike time!

I would expect the bike to turn quicker since the front tire and the rear tire are nor rower than stock. The back tire is almost an inch narrower than the Dunlop.

Yeah, but get this...it sticks better!  Weird, both rear tires sport the same size..

I am curious living in Chicago what corners you have to make your basis of sticking better????

I ride with the local ST group on OEM,s and have NO issue with slipping or sliding and run stock pressures.

The more pressure you are running over stock is actually going to give you least grip just like running to low of pressure where the Michelins will turn to grease.

Come down to my neighborhood and let's ride. Needless to say I am trying the Michelins and have a set in the basement waiting for the OEMs to be done.

Honestly if I would have known how narrow the tire was going to be I would have gone with my original plan of going up to a 190/55 on the rear. Lol
