Just sent the link to my stepdaughter. She literally gets ill crossing large bridges, such as the one over Tampa Bay. So, it's my duty to tease. I once sent her a link to the huge bridge I believe is in France. Actually has a curve built into it. She told me she couldn't even watch the video. Said "I still love you" then pinched me real hard.  Grin

This is the one in France John.

I started to ride my Valkyrie over it in 2011, but got a bit dizzy just as I approached. Took the exit into the rest area, I hate heights.
Always regretted it, but one day I'll go back and ride it.

There's four lanes of traffic up there.

Here's the Harry W. Nice Memorial Bridge (US 301) across the Potomac River. It's $6 to cross.   A 4.3-mile, two-lane continuous truss bridge that spans the Potomac River between Newburg in Charles County, Maryland and Dahlgren in King George County, Virginia, USA.  The bridge is narrow (one 11-foot lane in each direction with no shoulders, steep (up to 3.75 percent grade).  Apparently, enough people freak out driving over it, that a guy has gone into business driving people's cars over for them.  I've stood up on the bike crossing over, the view is better when standing.

The 6 dollars is what freaks me out, first you build it, then you pay to cross it??

I can't relate to being bothered by heights and motion. Cuz up to this point in time neither has EVER bothered me. Tall structures and roller coasters NOT a problem for me. BUT my 2nd X was bothered by height and motion.  Lips Sealed Would like to ride across any of those bridges pictured.  cooldude BUT being as the O P bridge is in china-NOT gonna happen.  Roll Eyes RIDE SAFE.

I've been on that US301 bridge a few times,

I've also crossed the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel a few times, and that one in Delaware that is so high that some truckers are scared to cross it.

I would love to drive to Key West someday.

The first pic is the Chesapeake Bay Bridge between Annapolis and Stevensville md. The Seco d is the Potomac bridge and last one is also the Chesapeake Bay bridge. Over 200 ft high and sways over 6 feet from side to side daily. In storms and strong g wind, it can move as much as 18 feet from side to side. Said it's one of the scariest bridges to cross in the country.

Dogg, you are right.  I Googled the 301 bridge for images and did not check them close enough.

My mistake.
