Wow..... I can't imagine anyone here that would consider using this in the condition it is in?  That's scrap at this point IMO.

Well, heck, he says the splines still work.  The buyer might even get a few (literally) miles out of them!

Here's the reply I got from the seller when I asked about the wear on the splines.

Grin For Someone in need they will get you by. They are hard to find and if you need something it will work.  Cheesy

The seller has 100% feedback.

You can fool some of the people all of the time. I guess.

I have no desire to buy it but it would be relatively good candidate for rebuilding with GW splines. I do want to put my 2 cents in about the seller. I purchased my  I/S from him with a lot of help from Grumpy. He was very honest and straightforward in my dealings with him. From what I can gather he buys bikes and mostly parts them out. I think this is his primary job but I'm not sure. It's rather sad that there is more money in parting them out instead of rebuilding but it is what it is. From my 3 month experience of buying my bike from him and subsequently buying some parts from him he is not trying to "fool" any of the people. He is a young guy with a family trying to make a living. If a potential buyer has questions or wants to negotiate I know him to be quite responsive.  Smiley
