Thanks for sharing the ride, I hope the wind didn't detract too much... The wind has been intermittently howling around here for several weeks, it was shrieking in Raleigh during the afternoon on Thursday...
I see you have the "good style" OEM seat... you get along OK without a backrest?

That seat is without a doubt one of the most comfortable I've ever ridden on. Don't need a backrest. I also have the "other" seat that is not comfortable. I also have a skinny little gun slinger thing. Need to put it on the classifieds.

I normally have a rear luggage rack with that seat.
I went on a 5 - 7 mile forest road jaunt and lost the rear bolt even though it was blue loctited.
My bag spent the rest of the trip smooshed on the luggage rack of friends BMW GS1000.

With the mystery seat mounted with the Honda passenger seat the slot for a back rest is hidden, tucked away under the front of the passenger seat.

I ended up getting an 01 seat. Waiting for it to arrive. Just an interim until a Russell DayLong finds it's way to me. Bob
