Could not get the Cobra "Fork Light brackets' for love of money. I like the set up Big BF has on his bike. Found a type of flat 'C' shaped bracket that let me mount the amber spots on the wind shield bracket. I have a set of small 5 light led light bars that I am trying to mount in the front. I was thinking low on the bottom of the engine guards. I have a set of red lights that I want to mount on the saddle bags.
I have three off each. the third ones red and white I want to mount high, probably on the Fork bar and sissy bar in the rear attached to a modulator/flasher to use as safety lights in heavy traffic, fog etc.

Now that more people will be paying attention to you, it's time to clean the bugs off of your helmet!

Thank you Karen. Tire ordered, still deciding on the rear one. Time for new helmet, 12 years old, I got my use out of it, or maybe just another coat of Krylon ultra flat black.

The lights look great! Nice effort.

I'd be interested in a picture when you get the LED 's mounted at about 100 feet out, in the daylight. I'm curious at how much they improve visibility.   Looking forward to it.

12 years, it's about maxed out its life due to UV rays etc.

More safety lights is not a bad idea/investment.

I don't buy the 5-10 year old helmets needing replacing so often.  I can see 15-20 years, but not much before then unless damaged or left out in the sun/elements/weather often.  I seem to replace my faceshield once every 5 years or less though since I either drop it scratching it or just is not as clear as when new.
