After determining the main starter relay was the culprit on the no start and R & R the relay still no start.  Lips Sealed Is there anyone near Willow Springs Mo. that knows the electrical system that might lend a hand on site? I'll be gone a good portion of the day on a P G R mission. As always T I A. RIDE SAFE.

are you talking about the relay or the solenoid? the solenoid could be energizing but if the contacts are burned it wont work...

This Is what I replaced. starter magnetic switch assembly part # 35850-MT4-000. This is the part with the red plug we see burned up in a lot of photos. Mine IS NOT burned up. All my connections to the best of my knowledge are good. Jumping the battery hot to the other terminal on the switch turns the starter-ergo sum starter works. Hope this is a little more clear.

I have been trying to help my brother ( yes, 02S is my brother) by phone. I have checked the wiring on my standard and sent him tests and values for the wiring. I am finishing up and getting ready for my state certification testing and am unable to go to help him. He is about 600 miles so it would be a nice ride. 02S is not one to ask for help. I would have posted a help call out if I had not convinced him to do so. He needs HANDS ON help. After you muddle so much , It is confusing. He is supposed to come stay with us starting on May 15 on our way to IZ16.
If there is anyone that can give him the physical help , PLEASE DO SO.

I had that same problem in Miami at a gas station, found out it was the kick stand switch,I jumped the switch out so I could get out of that place , you should check all the simple things first, not really a lot of major things go wrong with these bikes
