history is being set in Indiana this week.....

 This week is the first time that I can remember that Indiana will have a say in the primary election. For many years the pic for president has been chosen for us long before it gets to Indiana. The last two elections my choice didn't make it to this point.  Last night my brother Chris and I were talking. He's is voting for Cruz and I am voting for Trump. I think Trump is going to take Indiana he says Cruz will. We have a lunch riding on it. If Trump wins he buys me lunch and has to tell the waitress why.  If Cruz wins I will buy.

I will say it again. Weather you like Trump or not he has polarized people in this country. I personally think he will get to the 1237 needed to get the nomination. If not and it goes to a contested convention and they give it to Cruz there will be a revolt in the GOP.  Again this is my opinion.

A Hillary Supreme Court will end the 2nd Amendment as an individual right. I'm sure many of our other rights too.

We as a people are defined by our freedom, in particular, our 2nd Amendment rights. Without those rights, the America we know is over. We may still be called America, but we will no longer be America.

We will be the generation who threw away the sacrifices, threw away the freedom, threw away the country our founders risked everything to create.

If we cause this loss of freedom, this loss of America, this loss of our constitutional rights, our descendants should hate us for it.

Been a weird week in Indiana. I imagine you Hosiers are tired of the campaign adds. First Cruz and John I be living the dream Kasich decided to join forces and collude against Trump, but Kasich still living the dream decided he wanten Hosiers to vote for him anyway. 

Cruz in an almost unprecedented move names Fiorini from CA as his running mate.  When she bowed out she was poling at one percent.  Same night Trump gets endorsement from a favorite son of Indiana,  a true Hosier, Bobby Knight.  Later in the week on Friday Gov. Pence who was rumored to give an endorsement to Cruz did not stand with Cruz but instead gave a brief message on the radio that Cruz would get his vote.  While doing this he spent most of the time praising Donald Trump.  Then John Bohner gave a speech saying Ted was Lucifer reincarnated and the most disgusting person he ever worked with or at least words to this effect.

Starting the week Trump was up 6 to 8 points.  New poll out today NBC/Wall St. Journal/Marist shows Trump extending his lead to 15 points   49 to 34

I agree.  The 2nd Amendment will stand.  But........ with a liberal court, they will find that gun ownership is NOT an individual right.  They will allow LOTS of additional restrictions and local bans.  So,..... the 2nd Amendment, as we have known it for over 200 years, will be gone.  ONE VOTE is all that declared it an individual right.  With Scalia replaced by current nominee, who has voted that the 2nd is NOT individual, the 2nd is gutted.

If we lose the Freedoms our Constitution is designed to preserve, the freedoms that make us unique in the world, we are no longer America. That seems pretty simple too.

The same things were said 8 years ago.  YOU ARE NOT GOING TO LOSE YOUR 2nd AMENDMENT RIGHTS. I stand by my words also. We will have to further this discussion in 8 years. 

IF the currently proposed Justice had been on the Court, instead of Scalia, we would have ESSENTIALLY lost them several years ago in the Heller decision.  Heller said the 2nd is an INDIVIDUAL RIGHT. 4 of the 9 Justices said NO, it is NOT.  That it applies to the gov't.  That the GOV'T has the right to arms.  A nonsense argument, because EVERY gov'g has the right to arms, with or without the amendment.  Who ever heard of a gov't WITHOUT the right to have arms?

So, with ONE justice change, the 2nd will be changed from a right of each and every person to have arms, to people NOT having the right to have arms.

So, in a sense, as I have said before, your statement the 2nd will stand, is true.

What else is true, is that the MEANING of the 2nd will be radically changed.  There will be 1000's of new restrictions and prohibitions  passed by liberal cities and states, and they WILL be upheld, because the individual will no longer have the right to own.

The 2nd, AS WE HAVE KNOWN IT FOR OVER 200 YEARS, will be gone.  It will be still there, as a meaningless amendment.
