So, I had to go to Eglin AFB for therapy on my hand today. Way too nice a day to not take the bike. Absolutely perfect day to ride. After my appointment I decided to visit the All conflicts memorial (I believe that is the name of it) It was put up to honor all military conflicts anyway.
So I was able to park in front, since no one was there and get a picture of the bike and the flag at the memorial. Lighting wasn't ideal, but it came out ok. May not mean as much if you weren't in the military and or in a conflict, but its a relatively sobering place.
When My first wife and her father were still alive they wanted to pay for all three of our names to be put on bricks that make up the floor inside the memorial. I didn't care one way or the other, but now they are gone and I am the only one still left and I must say It is nice to be a very tiny part of this here memorial.
