So weather and other stuff  here hasn't been too cooperative around here lately. So I got into the shop early the last few days to play catch up on some orders knowing today was going to be nice and I would cut out early.

Well I didn't get out as early as I wanted but was "in the zone" today and banged out quite a few large orders but by the time I finished up it was 2:45. Got home about 3 and was rolling out of the garage by 3:30.

I headed out toward the beach and then south. The salt air was very cool and smelled great, it's always been a source of spiritual/emotional nourishment to me. The 35 minute ride south was refreshing and I headed west to then head further south but the area I was heading toward I hadn't been to in years and has become quite congested and light after light. It was ruining my vibe and to top it off I started to get tired, real tired, almost to the point I wasn't paying to close attention.

I stopped into a WA WA For fuel and a cup of coffee and headed further south to pick up the parkway to head north home. By the time I got home I had about 2 hours in the saddle and I was pooped.

Not how I had hoped the day would go after thinking about it so long, but at least I did get some seat time in.

There have been times that I anticipated the ride so much that I would be wore out afterwards. Drained and didn't feel up to doing anything after I got home. But then ready to go next time, we are so lucky!

At least you got out for some time in the wind

Its why I take the bike to work as often as I can, it makes up for some of the crap I have to put up with at work

Next time ride 3 hrs before going to work, you will be energized and not drained

Got out twice this week...metting in Easton Pa, road up along the Delaware river on the Pa side....what a mistake...looked forward to the ride for weeks....berween construction and slow moving heavt dump trucks...I was trapped for 2 and half hours at until 30 mph...thought about pulling off and taking a nap. Got to my meeting late and was wiped out.  Meeting went well and decided to ride home on the NJ side....great ride down 29...250 miles for the day...Mike we will need to catch up one of new these days.

I love that ride up 32 in Pa. but it's quite a popular road, great scenery though. There's a cool little airfield in Easton (I think) I use to visit on occasion, I can't remember the name of it right now.

We should hook up this summer, I'm about 1 hour from Washington Crossing.
