Please everyone check with your insurance agent/company to ask if your accessories etc are covered for FULL replacement value.
If they say you will get the ACV value ask for an explanation.

Then ask if they have a rider you can purchase so you WILL get full replacement value.

Otherwise you will be paid out at about 20% of the replacement value.

Don't be lazy it's just a phone call and could save you thousands in the event to a total loss accident.

Santa unless you state what cover you have for your premium it really means no one can compare.

Wow that sounds so low for a Valkyrie! I would really like to know the coverage limits  you have as my policy runs about $800.00 per year.
I have full coverage with replacement value on everything.

It won't really even help much to know the terms of the coverage unless you live next door to the person telling you those terms.

Insurance rates vary widely even within the same company based upon the area in which a person lives and then secondarily based upon usage expectations and history.

Renewed with Markel for the umpteenth year, now $139 for full coverage with $250 deductible on coll. & comp. Both of the deductibles have been zero for a while due to no claims, the rest of the coverage is fairly strong. That's for just one bike with a $5000 accessory rider. Granted, that won't cover everything at full cash value but will make a decent dent in it. To go any higher involved extra paperwork which I didn't want to mess with.

Mine is also around that 130 per year mark as well but with Geico.  have 100/300/100 limits with both un and underinsured  but no medical coverage which would bring it to 200 bucks per year or so.  As long as don't take anyone on your bike outside of family members or let someone else borrow your cycle,  our family health insurance covers us.
