I guess he thinks he can just say it and it will happen.

Those who pay the bills make the decision on what gets paid for.

This is the left's wet dream.  A divisive issue which Obama can make go his way by withholding gov't money which the local schools have become dependent on. 

This is why I can't understand why ANYONE would want their gov't paying for their education.  When gov't pays, they control what is taught and what you will learn.  Do you really want people like Hillary Clinton, George Bush, John Kerry, Pilosi, Reid, or the like, determining what you can learn.  As it is, in NYC, where the city university is heavily subsidized, therefore tuition is low, you have take a certain amount of liberal arts courses from column A and column B to meet the graduation requirements.
