found yet another 'good deal' on a set of new factory OEM aluminum rims and tires for my truck 500 bucks total 18" size. Value at over 1 grand am sure both new. Guy is a toyota tech and got them for free from his buddy doing a lift kit and bigger off road tires for a new 2016 tundra didn't want them. I guess if his buddy has 2+ grand to spend on materials and labor for a lift kit/big tires, he doesn't need the factory stock OEM rims/tires that came on it.
Also bought within last 2 years on craigslist near new rims for 25 bucks over 70 new being steel rims for my one other car for snow tires as well as 1/2 priced 18" snow tires near new for 300 bucks vs. 600 bucks new for the other car.
Now, I have 3 full sets of tires/rims sitting in my basement. I need a bigger basement.

I don't need the rims to be honest since mine are perfectly fine so will sell on craigslist for 300 bucks rims alone easy enough making my new 18" tires for the truck at only 200 bucks total for a set of 4. Plus, the guy threw in a set of new only on tundra 10 miles of 20 chromed lug nuts for my truck if bought from a dealer are 5 bucks each or more so 20 making it another 100 bucks for free.
They are mounted and balanced from factory as well also saving another 90 bucks or so when the time comes before winter - I am set for a few more years....

I go online craigslist near daily for 1, up to 2 hours per day just to find 'the good deals'. I bought both my ATV's used on there as well saving easily 1-2 grand off what they were worth at the time. I'm addicted to it you could say?
Plus, is nice to sell stuff for free on there, minus the crank callers, etc. Usually good stuff sells for 1/2 price of new and near new condition. If going to use it, why not buy right??
