Subject: Test ride in a new Pickup I stopped by the Dodge Dealership yesterday, for a look at the new pickup. Just for fun, I took it out for a test drive. I wanted to sense that new truck "feel" before they become old. The salesperson (a nice looking lady wearing a “Hillary for President” lapel pin) sat in the passenger seat next to me, describing the truck and all its "wonderful" options. The seats were of particular interest. She explained that the seats directed warm air to your butt in the winter and directed cool air to your butt in the summer heat. Feeling like messing with her, I mentioned that this must be a Republican truck. Looking a bit angry, she asked why I thought it was a Republican truck. I explained that if it were a Hillary truck, the seats would just blow smoke up your ass year-round. I had to walk back to the dealership. She had no sense of humor.

Should have asked her if the truck would haul ass. An affirmative response would have allowed an invitation for her to get in the back where one would haul an ass.

should have went to a toyota dealer, unless you opt for the 50K plus tundra like that decked out dodge ram, much less likely to get heated and cooled leather seats.
I must admit, I did test ride myself a new dodge ram 1500 crew cab (although not with a sexy young salesperson) and the ride was very nice, but for 40K out the door pricing with 10K depreciation in 1 year is all, NO thanks.
When looking for a good used car for the kid in high school a few years back, I did have a busty young hot lady try to sell me a used 2012 toyota corolla. Nice to look at (her), but no brains behind the boobs. Since she was brain dead, I had the owners of the used car lot attempt to sell me another Nissan Altima car was junked for an overinflated price as well and they thought they knew it all not letting me leave too high pressure not dumb falling into their lineup of B.S.

I hope you understand this was a joke. But, I've owned Toyotas. I've owned a Tundra. I was born and brought up in Studebaker and Ford shops. I'm now on my second Ram, there is a reason why I bought the first and second one which will probably lead to me buying a 3rd. I will never own another Toyota.

Dodge don't make trucks anymore makes me a little suspect of the story Gavin, Whether Dodge still makes trucks or not really is not the key to the truth of the story. As you may (or may not) know, I work in the auto parts business (both commercial and retail sales). On a daily basis, I have Ram owners and ASE certified mechanics come in for parts and tell me they drive or are working on a Dodge. I accept that until they tell me what year the vehicle is. Then, I ask if they are sure of the year and/or advise them it might be a Ram. So, I don't believe the confusion does anything to take away from the story.

Ram/Fiat/Dodge : Doesn't matter, near all parts nowadays come from China......... Heck, I took off my aluminum rims on my Toyota Tundra and on the inside is stamped Mexico.
