Wont help with controlling recoil. If I want to practice I use the real stuff. I could see where thos would teach you how to hold and where the gun shoots but the only real way to know for sure is to use live ammo.

Would be cool if it didn't require the I phone. (Don't and won't own an "I" anything!)

I have a similar setup from laserlyte that's a bunch of fun and doesn't need a phone app.

Also have the laser cartridges in 9mm and .45.

Not a bad idea if you have a smart phone. However, some will probably find a way to have an accident.

I have another decent setup, an air soft pistol, propane ,and a cardboard target.  Works very well and the slide recoils, and fully automatic feed of the pellets. No need to use a real pistol and the air soft is exactly like the Glock that I have.
Plastic pellets are cheap, propane is cheap, paper plates azre cheap, and close to the real thing except recoil.

Good for sight picture and trigger control.  No need for batteries, etc.

No thanks.

Dry fire practice at home (except rimfires), live fire at the range.

The ex's picture is much cheaper than that setup.  (just kidding)

Without the sound and fury of recoil, that practice is of very limited value. (Not much more than proper grip, trigger control, breathing control, all of which can be practiced without that setup)

Maybe for teaching small kids and newbies.

I'd be too tempted to shoot the phone.

Call me  a conspiracy theorist, I can see this being modified for remote use to knock someone off.   Pick a target..................   Use the phone to sight in and have a remote trigger device.   Kind of like an IED only more specific.

Yeah, I know.   I watch too much TV.  Wink

Grin  You'd be a conspiracy theorist if you believed the developers of this product were involved in providing for its being used as a remote killing device.

As it is if you didn't think the developers were involved in that plan you'd just be a dufus who focuses the worst possible use of any technology (such as using the automobile as a killing device to run down pedestrians or break into houses).   Wink
