I am waiting for a call back from the Comfort Inn 135 +tax /nite

Have left an email message then a personal visit yesterday to tell manager to block a dozen rooms but need a list of who is coming who NEEDS a room and what days as I may need to put a reservation on the credit card to hold the rooms for the group.

The La Quinta was about 15 more, not as nice and is not next to the Applebys and a good diner or across the street from a gas station.

Are you looking for a room bull or are you a day trekker

Please folks if you would like to come let me know  In fact post here to say what days.  I can have the rooms start Thu nite so we can also have a Friday ride.

There is also camping at Croton Point Park which is 5 miles north of me right on the Hudson Cabins and tent sites available.

You being a lawyer that makes you smarter than I however I've been ask to do that on some of my rides . My answer is always " NO WAY " .  If the weather is nice you have nothing to worry about if not then the fair weather riders will leave you with the bill.

I agree with Joe, Oss, you shouldn't put up deposits.

Won't they give a 24 hour notice refund?  That would give us plenty of time to see if a hurricane Shocked, or some such thing, is coming.

I still haven't figured out if I'm doing 1 or 2 nights and wouldn't want to put you in the middle.

Oss, put us down for Friday-Sunday nights. But like everyone else I don't think you should be on the hook for it. As soon as you decide on the hotel say the word and we will make our reservations. We've got our flights and GoldWing paid. Soon to also have a hotel for 3 days in the city.  Smiley
