He dropped off, or rather I ran through the rain to retrieve, a box of metal 90 degree valve stems.  Twenty rear and twenty front stems to be provided to the InZane XVI raffle materials.  I hope I remember to transport them this time.

The ones I buy and use are the Patchboy stems.  They have a double nut locking system on the inside of the wheel.  I know some of our folks prefer the Jake Wilson version with the nut on the outside.  I think the nuts on the inside makes for prettier stems and I've never had one of mine work loose.

Get to InZane and we'll be giving out twenty sets with the raffle prizes.  Friends don't let friends ride on OEM valve stems.   cooldude

Yes, but they are indistinguishable until installed.   Cheesy

I like the Patchboy ones better also. Never an issue for me either. But now I understand why my tire wear has been larger than usual. I've been mixing up the front and back stems.  Shocked

Thank you Willow!! We  (Mean Colleen and I) along with a group of Michigan "Rogue Riders" will be happy to win a set! One question, is there going to be a "pie auction" this year? If so,we'd like to bring one down. It was great fun at Ashville!!

Thanks again for all you do for the club!!!

I hope you win a set.  If not maybe we can work a fix.

Baking pies fresh is something Motomama does to help raise money for the charity.  I'm sure she has arranged a place to do so again this year.  It's fun watching the interaction during the "pie auction".

LOL, Jimmy.  At the level at which those bids arrive it is clear they are not buying a pie but simply contributing generously to the charity.  The pie is just a nice side benefit.

The arrangements have been made and I will be baking the pies for the auction in the kitchen at the hotel on Wednesday.  They will be auctioned at the blowout party Wednesday evening.

Any suggestions on types of pies (other than strawberry)?  I was also contemplating doing some sopapilla cheesecake and some chocolate covered strawberries...

Do a pecan pie so I'll have something to bid on after Jimmy buys
all the strawberry pies...
