Wife and I went for a nice ride today....

I am still unemployed at this point. Between doing stuff around the house and working on an occasional bike or car I am keeping a little busy. Current project is removing the pealing wall paper and repainting the bathroom. My wife took today off so she could go and get her teeth cleaned. She also wanted to finish the bathroom so I made a deal with her. While she is at the dentist I will mask the bathroom (she can't tape a straight line to save her life) so we can put the first coat of paint on. When she came home we painted the first coat.

After painting Twila packed a picnic lunch. We hopped on the bike and headed up to Pokegon national park outside of Angola IN. We headed north out of Ft Wayne on 327 until we got to 20 and headed east and up to Pokegon. Got to the park. Road around a little in the park and found a nice little spot sat down and had a nice lunch all the time watching and listening to the local wildlife. Afterward we went into the wildlife center and checked it out. They got a bee hive under glass that allows the bees to go outside and come back all the whille you can watch. The have a couple of snake tanks with a Garder snake and a small rattle snake. We spent about an hour there. But it was time to get home,the bathletes wasnt got to do itself. Got back on the bike and headed for home. Taking the long way home of course.

Back on the road. Rode south on 127 to 20 in Angola. Headed east on 20 until we got to 1 and then south. 1 is nice road. Has some curves but most of them had gravel from the burms in them. Made it hard to pick a line. Rode south on 1 to 101 and then west on 37 to home. All in all was a beautiful 75 degree day. Got home and finished the bathroom. Looks good.... great day........
