May 1961, President John F. Kennedy said "We will put men on the moon." May 2016, President Barack Obama said "We will put men in women's restrooms." Really don't have the right emoji to express my feelings about such stupidity.

Careful there John, you just might have somebody here asked you 'how do you get up in the morning' . I think you get up just fine, as do I . We just don't have our heads up our 'Arse" as they say. John, lead on.

I had to smile at your first sentence. FWIW, I get up thanking the good Lord for another beautiful day. Makes no difference if it's cloudy and raining or the sun is shining bright on my world and all that's in it. As for the subject of my original post, I guess I wouldn't be so bothered by all the hubub of that and the LGBT circus arena if there wasn't such a concerted effort to cram it down our throats. My feelings are quite simple re. all of it: Live your own life as you see fit. You don't have to answer to me or anyone else until that final judgement. I would not want to be in their shoes on that day.

So if I go into a restroom with that sign on the door, take care of business, and shake more than twice, I'm arrested for what?

Probably for not washing your hands. You know what it's called if you shake more than twice!

speaking of proud, my daughter graduating high school tonight at the Senior awards banquet dinner received 10 scholarships totaling $6050 to be used for college tuition in our small k-12 school. I was expecting a few totaling maybe 2-3K, but none were huge most 100-500 bucks and not the biggies one was 50K, the other biggie 9K and one 6K, but only 3-4 other kids in her small class of 20 received more number of scholarships, all well deserved, guessing 50 or so scholarships given out. I was pretty impressed with the vast amount of scholarships they give out for such a small school vs. when I was going to school some 30 years ago maybe 4-6 scholarships at most. The 9K was for Valedictorian award, while the 50K came from a private college having to work her butt off doing essays/speeches going into nursing well deserved as well for that other girl and for sure being in a small Ag community, one girl in her class was awarded several Ag scholarships since going into Agriculture at Iowa State University she won all the Ag awards like 6 alone just for Ag studies. The entire ceremony started at 7 p.m. and lasted until 9 p.m. can't imagine having more than 20-30 kids per class like 50+ would have lasted until past 10 p.m. Very well done, darn near choked up afterwards being so proud of them all knowing all the kids in her small class over the years, especially seeing their younger years presentation slide show going with them to the various field trips, etc. when age 5-12 or so. I think I taught 3 of the girls in their class age 3-4 how to ride a bike without training wheels going back that far. The final graduation ceremony is this Saturday might camcord it since our daughter is one of 3 that is giving a speech on their 'future'. Don't tell, but my wife and me made a 4-tier cake made of 100 one dollar bills rolled up with 10 tens mixed in for amusement for about 200 bucks of shock and awe. We are NOT helping her untape all of them either, she may get ticked off knowing she has to spend 1 hour or more untaping them to use the money up but it took us over 3 hours to make. Plus, I think she won more non-scholarship awards vs. most as well for doing citizenship awards mostly outside of school. She should, she was gone all the time driving our car all over the place doing stuff for others outside of the classroom, some which I thought was going WAY out of her way volunteering her free time for others vs. back in our day, ONLY needing to HIT the books is all studying. She is going into elementary teaching with a minor in Spanish as well, not going to be rich, but hopefully is what she wants to do in life. Most of her awards were in music and family, career, and community leaders (FCCLA they call it) and Spanish, none big dollar awards but quite a few of them. One girl in her class won 6K only one she won since going to a tech college being the award and she got thru school with teacher's aides doing most of her homework to not flunk every grade, so for our daughter to win 10 of the 50+ was a job well done. I am glad the other 2 females winning more awards than her got them as well since they deserved them for sure as well going into Ag and Nursing in a more private, bigger college setting costing more as well. 50K+ and over 10K+ for the other 2 girls in her class is very helpful. My daughter even made a comment that for such a small school as compared to other small schools nearby, the scholarships are out there in plenty if willing to put in the time and do a good job. It made tonight my Freshman son being very smart #1 or #2 in his class of 20 really think about hopefully applying himself getting all A's and possibly winning that 9K Valedictorian award 3 years from now when he graduates high school. At 16K per year college tuition, every 1 grand helps!

Seriously now, we all know what I was trying to imply, in a shaking manner, if you know what I mean. The new order progressive school of thought is that if we eliminate all traditional, and cultural differences and preferences, the world will be a better place. HOW? On a less structured, informal, locally determined standard of morality and social standards, things, well, happen. What is going on now is an attempt to radically change things that OUR society. I do not care for the standards that are being forcefully imposed on people. The entire summary of the cultures of this planet cannot be forced to change. It happens in an evoluntionary manner. Radical thought has been trying to subvert this pattern of evolution. Part of that radical thought is, and has been, to bring about "hope and change" to our little corner of the world. I know who I am, and who I answer to, and I am too tired of living with this bullshit.
