Today I finally got to log some seat time and it was wonderful. I left the neighborhood and a last minute decision made me turn left...due west. Got through some traffic lights and I was cruising with music in my ears. After about 30 minutes of heading west I found a road I haven't been on in years and headed south-west through the Pine Barrens.

The heat off the road wasn't too bad and the sun was shining and the smell of our scrub pines filled the air and traffic was not bad. I followed 2 girls in a Jeep Wrangler with out the soft top for about 10 miles watching their hair fly and passing a joint back and forth between them. When we finally came to a traffic signal they headed East toward a resort area and I continued south-west a while longer.

My road came to an end and it was either go north or south, so I went south which led me through some nice little towns and no traffic or traffic signals and then it hit me, cool salty air. I stayed on this course and enjoyed the view of boats and water until it came to an end. I turned around on the outskirts of Atlantic City and found the parkway, it was time to let the 'ole girl run a little.

Usually on a holiday weekend the Garden State Parkway is jammed with traffic but to my surprise traffic was at a minimum, I guess everyone was where they wanted to be. I got to my favorite speed for freeways and kicked back and the bike was feeling happy with lots of fuel pumping through those 6 hungry mouths. After about 30 minutes I pulled into a service area for some fuel, bathroom and a nice cold Gatorade and I was on my way once again. Turned on my music and "Roll me away" came on which was great and made my wrist roll a little more throttle into the 'ole girl and she didn't mid one little bit,we were in sync. So like any ride it did come to an end but I pulled into the driveway with 158 miles of much needed seat time.

Hey Mike, how ya been? Good ya got some seat time. I finally got out for a whole day today. I added a King Ultimate seat and MarkT peg relocation kit this winter and needed to get used to them before heading to Inzane in 2 weeks.
My buddy and I rode to Mystic, CT and had some awesome seafood, then found some back roads all over CT.  We did about 250 miles and no speeding awards. Also got 40 mpg on the last tank of gas!

Nice ride report. At the light were you thinking of going east?  So far this weekend I've only gotten in a short ride. Maybe today, there saying in north east PA it's going to clear up after the rain last night.
