New Alternator cover

I recently purchased a new alternator cover at a reasonable price. (65.00)

I'm trying to think of some way to keep it from crinkling. I know there's been some previous discussion of this problem but don't find much by search.

My best idea so far is to line the interior of the cover with header wrap.

Other ideas:

(don't laugh), glue 1/4" of fiberglass insulation to heavy-duty alumninum foil & line the interior foil side facing out. 

Line it with foil only using the heavy duty adhesive foil tape used by HVAC guys.

Fabricate a shield to fit between the alternator & the cover attached to the alternator but separated and standing off from it by 1/2" or so in such a manner as to allow air to circulate.

My concern is not to do anything to cause the alternator to overheat and, as I strongly suspect, wasting time.

Anyone have any other ideas on how to do this or whether it would be of any help?

Don't flex it when handling it, installing it or removing it.

Don't drip gas on it whilst fueling.

Don't clean it with anything that comes out of an aerosol when the cover is still warm/hot.

You probably won't ever have to replace yours BPP,,  good find on that product.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. Maybe that coupled with the other suggestions will work.
