Just when I start feeling sorry for myself I meet someone who has a lot more  to complain about and still keeps on going.
I was at some motorcycle races Friday night (1/4 mile dirt track).  After the race I was in the pits and met the winner of the main event.  (sorry I don't remember his name).  He was in his mid fifties, had two hip replacements, had gone through chemo therapy for bladder cancer, had the bladder removed and was replaced with part of his small intestine.  That on top of racing related injuries.
If you've ever seen these guys racing side by side gong into a curve you know it takes guts and to do it with various parts replaced in your body.  I think he may have had an extra set of ball bearings put in too.  After the race his complaint was that his knee gave him trouble.
My aches and pains are nothing compared to his.
If he can race I can ride.   cooldude

Yeah it's easy to feel sorry for ourselves until we meet someone like this.
