Soldiers who wish to continue breastfeeding upon return to duty will notify their chain of command as soon as possible to allow the command to determine how best to support them, McHugh said.

I could breath hard on my hands to warm them  :D

So what are they doing for those seeking nooners?

The emperor has no clothes

Do they let them have their babies at work ?

I will go out on a limb and suppose this is for women working admin jobs where there actually is an inside bathroom and not for paratroopers    :o

I work on a Navy base.
We have a room in our building called the female usage room.
It is for the exclusive use of lactating mothers, to pump their milk.

Shrugs. No harm, no foul as much as I care.  < My comment.

(Our command is Shore Duty and a depository for MANY females, most who are either pregnant or otherwise non-deployable.  The preggos still do useful work, but avoid HazMats, etc. as you would WANT your own pregnant wife to.)

You think they could get away with treating paratroop, cop, etc moms differently from admin moms?

We had a paralegal airman about 5' 2" 200 before birth, and 180 after birth who could never make weight standards.  To avoid being separated for cause, she just kept getting pregnant (and continued wearing the maternity uniform, after giving birth).  She was a good worker and did her job, but was not recruiting poster material.  The boss called her our little bowling ball, in an affectionate way.

So they don't have their kids at work ? They just pump the milk to give to them later ?

should be no different in the military than any other job, although mostly office jobs for the most part being easier accomodating.

If behind enemy lines though, say in combat,  would be hard pressed to setup someplace to do their thing.

Although,  I guess the good thing is if in combat,  the fellow troops won't go thirsty.    :2funny:

Trust me, it doesn't taste all that great, but babies love it for some reason...
