Wonder what the epitaph on his gravestone will say? What a legacy to leave for his family.  uglystupid2

That's the kind of thing that should NEVER be in the news, and should not even have been revealed to his family.  He died of a heart attack while at work.  End of story.

Come on.  Unless he was on camera, he was just scratching himself.

Hope he wasn't humming the Marine Hymn (like John Glenn in The Right Stuff)

If you die on active duty, a casualty officer is appointed to go through your stuff and make sure no embarrassing items are sent home to your folks/wife and kids.  It's a good plan, and not thievery.

Guess they could have been more sensitive. Kind-a reminds me this event:

Quote
The Joplin , Missouri Police Department reported finding a man's body last Saturday in the Spring River near the Empire Electric Plant. The police would not release the dead man's name until his family had been notified.
The victim apparently drowned due to excessive beer consumption while visiting "someone" in Riverton , Kansas. He was wearing black fishnet stockings, nipple rings, a red garter belt, a pink G-string, purple lipstick, and an Obama T-shirt.
The police removed the Obama T-shirt to spare the man's family any unnecessary embarrassment.

Probably pressed the wrong button on the computer and got a picture of Hilldabeast.  I do agree something like that should be kept private.

The fault is somewhat our own as a culture.  On the one hand I'm disgusted often by what the "news" reports but then they tend to report what we as a culture want to see.

We had a fellow employee have a heart attack on the john at work.  He went in there to give himself an injection (he was a diabetic).  Died right there.

The responders said that it's really common to find people that have gone to the bathroom and never leave alive.

The really sad part is that nobody found him for several hours after most everybody else had gone home for the day.  That day's evening shift had found him later in their shift.

The Headline "Man dies of a Heart Attack in the Hospital" isn't going to grab readers attention.  Editor would be like "I am not wasting the column inches on this."

"What about if he works there, boss?"

"Nah...people keel over at work alla time."

"What if he was in the bathroom?"

"Better, but, still, we gotta increase readership.  Nobody's clicking on that."

"His pants were down.  We could throw Pooping in there.  People always click on a good poop story."

"Meh.  Getting better."

"Masturbating?"

"YES!  You're a friggin Genius.  Run with that."

Mmmm... May I suggest that you don't use the words "one hand" in a topic like this!  Smiley

I've fallen asleep on the poddy once, does that count?   Shocked

It was also when I was 18 and drunk enough to kick the bucket as well on our senior high school class trip...   Cool

However,   I have darn near dozed off while on the john at work from time to time.  Sure beats sitting at my desk staring at a computer screen...   Roll Eyes
